In the Spring of 2022, a 501c3 tax exempt organization was created to promote the game of golf and its values through education and charity at Cloquet Country Club. Its goal is to partner with the CCC to support the mission of making golf more accessible and enjoyable especially for young people and women as well as supporting the Club through extra projects and initiatives that go beyond the normal scope of the golf course. The Foundation is committed to supporting the rich history and tradition that the Club has brought to the community over the past 100 years. We know the CCC has made a huge impact on many lives and the goal of this Foundation is to ensure that will continue for generations to come!

 

If you would like to partner with the CCC Golf Foundation you can do so in several ways. First and most importantly, the Foundation needs financial partners through donations. The organization is a 501c3 organization which means donations are 100% tax deductible each year. It is also something to consider for any will or estate planning in the future. Another way is through volunteer work. Volunteers could help us implement different programs throughout the summer which would focus on lessons, clinics & other golf events that will be targeted toward ladies and young people.

 

CCC GOLF FOUNDATION: “LEGACY CAMPAIGN”

We are soliciting support for our Legacy Wall which we unveiled earlier this Spring. It is a beautiful, granite wall on the backside of the 1st tee in which people will be recognized for their contributions to the Foundation. Whether it is current or past CCC members, employees, invitational participants, businesses, families or friends - living or deceased, we hope to fill the Wall with everyone who wants to leave a legacy for themselves or a loved one at the CCC. We envision the Wall being a cornerstone and main focal point of the Club, as it highlights all the history and individuals who were an integral part of keeping our small town Country Club going and now thriving!

 

Donation levels start at $2500 to have individuals, families or businesses recognized on the Legacy Wall. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Here are a few different ways you can contribute to the campaign…

1. A one time charitable contribution

2. A pledge of a certain amount of $ over X amount of years

3. Our first 18 donors of $5000 or more will be considered part of the “Founders Club” and receive special recognition on the main panel of the wall.​
